Bath & Beach
Protection
It may sound a bit exaggerated to protect yourself during a day at the beach or by the lake. However, you really do need to protect yourself!
Protection against the sun
It's no surprise that you need to protect yourself from the sun. Water and sand amplify the UV rays, making it easier to get sunburned quickly at the beach or on the water! You can keep applying sunscreen, but a protective UV shirt is probably much more convenient. A UV shirt provides the same protection as SPF 50 sunscreen, but it continues to protect you well even when wet! The shirt prevents you from having to repeatedly apply sunscreen to your upper body and provides excellent protection! It's also wise to wear sunglasses, as they protect your eyes and give them some rest.
Protection for your feet
When the sun is shining brightly, the sand can get quite hot! Flip-flops allow you to move around the beach without burning your feet on the hot sand. Want to be extra safe? You can opt to wear a pair of water shoes! As the name suggests, water shoes also protect your feet in the water. This way, you can be completely sure that you won't injure your feet!
Entertainment
Not everyone is cut out to spend a whole day lying on their towel, so a fun activity can break up the day and ensure everyone has a good time!
Sports and games
If you're at the beach with family or friends, it's a great idea to bring along some games! Badminton, beach volleyball, and petanque are popular games to bring along for a day out. An added advantage of these games is that they don't take up much space. Minimal baggage, but maximum fun!
Inflatable items
If you don't feel like swimming but find it too hot on the beach, head into the water with an inflatable item! This way, you can relax and cool off at the same time, win-win!
SUP boards and bodyboards
Stand-up paddleboarding and bodyboarding are also popular water activities! If the water is a bit rough, you might want to leave your SUP board aside and go bodyboarding instead. Bodyboarding is a form of surfing where you mostly lie on your stomach. If the water is calm, you can simply enjoy paddleboarding, great for your summer body and also a lot of fun!
