Triathlon suit, trisuit or triathlon wetsuit?
A triathlon wetsuit is also called a trisuit or a triathlon suit, but of course it all comes down to the same thing! It is a suit that consists entirely of one piece, so the suit stays in place and does not slide down. A triathlon wetsuit is made of quick-drying material, so you will be dry quickly after the swimming section to move on to the next section. To make the cycling section run as smoothly as possible, there is a thin chamois in the suit. The chamois ensures that you experience extra comfort on the bike, but does not cause irritation during running.
Time savings
The main advantage of a triathlon wetsuit is of course the time savings! Some triathletes choose to change clothes after each section, but this results in a lot of valuable time being lost. So, if you are aiming for a new PR, it is better to opt for a triathlon wetsuit!

A triathlon wetsuit should fit snugly to the body, so you experience as little resistance as possible during the three sections.
